Question: Hi, I am trying to determine which Raymarine Axiom product to purchase. Ideally I am looking at the Airmar B175HW thru hull tranducer (1kW). Will the 9+ support a 1kW transducer or do I need to go to the Pro version? My ideal set up is to go with two 9" screens and I am fine with going just touch screen and not having the hybrid controls. The 9+ is only 600W. The Pro is 1kW. So you would want the pro to get the most out of the B175HW. The B175HW will certainly work on the 9+ though.

Thanks James for the follow up. Is it possible to have both a 9+ and a 9 pro which are on the same NMEA 2000 network?

Yes, they can be on the same n2k network and also the same raynet network to share sonar.
