This cable will connect an existing NMEA2000 network to a Yamaha Command Link Network. It will also work for Simnet and SeatalkNG with the appropriate adapters. The cable connects directly from a NMEA2000 T Connector to an open port on a Command Link hub. If you do not have any open ports on your Command Link hub you will need to expand the hub. Please contact a Yamaha dealer for these parts like SimYamaha.com This cable has a NMEA2000 Micro-C Male Plug on one end and a Command Link Plug on the other. This part is similar to the Maretron MARE-003 Cable which is no longer in production. **T Connector Not Included

This cable will not work with Furuno NAVNET.

I have a 2022 boat with Yamaha command link display (cl5) and Simrad go 12 chartplotters. What do I need to display the information on the cl5 to the chartplotters?

I have a twin F150 engine boat connected to the round CL gauges with inline hubs. The gauges consist of two tachometer gauges and one fuel gauge. I am assuming that each of the tachometer gauges go to a single engine. The question is, do I need two 3-Port Command Link hubs connected to each engine and do I need two of these cables to share data to my existing NMEA network?

Answer:

If you are using this cable, BOE-003, you will need to have an existing NMEA2000 network with a tee/power cable seperate. If you do not want to start a NMEA2000 backbone, you can use the BOE-002 cable.

Answer:

You will need to purchase a BUS harness from a Yamaha dealer, this will go to the BUS port on each hub. SIMYAMAHA is a great source for parts. You can use the BOE-003 cable if you have an existing NMEA2000 network. One side goes to a NMEA2000 t-connector and the other to an open device port.

Answer:

This will make the connection, but it won't do anything. If you have a 6YC then you have Command Link Plus in which case you need a command link plus gateway.  Here are some articles that will help https://www.boemarine.com/blog/search/yamaha/

Answer:

This cable does not work with a Yamaha 6Y9 and Command Link Plus.  It only works with Command Link. You need a Command Link gateway to work with the 6Y9.  Here are a couple of articles to help https://www.boemarine.com/blog/search/yamaha/
