I have never tried to connect to one personally, and have heard of no complaints so I am unaware of an issue. If you contact Xantrex they can let you know if there is a problem on their end - http://www.xantrex.com/contacts/contacts.aspx

I'm currently working with Richard from Xantrex's engineering team. They have confirmed that this unit will not connect to Android devices. Customers should be informed.
