Answer:
Cable is not included. You will need the appropriate length of coax and 2 PL259 connectors. Search our site for 1515-FT to find the coax, and PL259 to find those. Here are some instructions from Shakespeare's site: Supplied Parts 1 Antenna assembly 1 1”-14 thread adapter 1 Rubber O-ring 1 Coupling nut 1 Grommet Plug (see Tech Tips) Tools required: Screwdriver, drill, drill bits sized according to the cable you are using, wrench Other tools or supplies that are appropriate to your specific application may also be needed. Required materials: 1 Length of coaxial cable 1 Male “UHF” connector appropriate to the size coax you are using 1 Connector for connection to your VHF transceiver U-bolts, stainless steel strapping and appropriate hardware, if mounting the antenna to a mast

Thank you. I just bought them from BOE. Brian

Ok James, you were incorrect. I ordered from BOE the Shakespeare PL-259-ER. That will certainly screw into the socket on the back of the VHF radio but have no connection to this "mini plug" on the bottom of the Shakespeare 6400-R antenna. I have bulk Coax I have bought from BOE, the PL-259-ER loose connector but still need something to terminate at the connection of the antenna. Does that make sense? Please help, I'm assembling this weekend.
