Question: I currently have a Raymarine RA1048HD 4' HD Color open array connected to my two Raymarine E120 classics. It no longer shows targets although it does spin up and display noise at high gain. Is the 4 kW Magnum RAY-T70408 a direct replacement? Can it use my existing voltage converter and cable?

You likely have a bad magnetron. The new T70408 will work on E Classic Series.   This includes the VCM100 voltage converter which is what you'll need.   I can't recall what your cable was like on the older radar, but I think it required hardwiring inside of the gearbox.  If that is the case then the cabling is not compatible. You'll need to use the new cable that comes with this radar, which I suggest as a good practice anyway.
