Question: Confused.
What does the NSS9 evo3 do that the Cruise 9 doesn't? I just want a great GPS
and a simple but quality fishfinder. Huge difference in price, hence the hesitation.

It is a huge difference in performance. The NSS has a much better screen, brigher, higher resolution, NSS is touchscreen & buttons. The processor is way faster. The quality of the keypad is much nicer. The sonar technology is much better. The units are not really comparible aside from sortof looking alike. The NSS was built to be the best in class. The Cruise was built to be the cheapest. Both do well for their purpose.
