Question: Which Quick Release mount would work best; the 17 or 19. Minn Kota website indicates the 17 would work best, but the 19 is labeled, "Riptide quick release".

The 19 is bulkier and heavier duty. Not required for a 54" motor. So I suggest the RTA-17.
