Question ID: 1040

Question: I need to replace my existing transducer on my 2001 Sear Ray 380DA. I recently purchased a Garmin 1242xsv from you and was wondering if the B150 would be a good match. I have a 19.5 degree deadrise. Thanks.

Generally on boats that size we will use a transducer with a fairing block.  The B744V - https://www.boemarine.com/garmin-b744v-600w-triducer-50-200khz-8-pin.html

However, you may already have a flush mounted ducer like the B150.  If you do, and it works to your satisfaction, then the B150 would be  great style of transducer to use - https://www.boemarine.com/garmin-b150m-bronze-20-176-thru-hull-transducer-300w-8-pin.html
