Do you store your boat in an unattended storage lot or at a marina?  Do you have expensive marine electronics displays on your boat?  The ultimate bummer is arriving at your boat for a nice day on the water to find that your electronics displays have been stolen.  This scenario plays out over and over.  Marine Electronics theft is a major problem. Install a Helm Guardian Lock, to make sure thieves pass right over your boat and find another easier target.

The Helm Guardian Lock is an anodized billet aluminum bar/assembly that gets placed over your marine electronics display when the boat is not being used.  It simply slides into place and then gets locked with the push of a button.  Removal is just as easy.  All that is left behind when the Helm Guardian Lock is removed are two small anodized aluminum buttons about the size of a snap, to keep your dash looking clean.  Once installed and locked into place, it is impossible to remove with basic tools or in a timely manner, even if a thief gains access to the back of your dash.

A Helm Guardian Lock is one thing a thief will not want to deal with when trying to be fast and quiet.

The Helm Guardian Lock will fit all marine electronics that are flush mounted with a height off the dash less than 22.5mm or .9".  This is basically everything currently on the market except for Humminbird or the Lowrance Elite Series.  Brands it will fit include:

  • Simrad NSS Evo2
  • Simrad NSS Evo3
  • Simrad NSS Evo3S
  • Lowrance HDS Live
  • Raymarine Axiom (All Axiom variants)
  • Raymarine C & E Series (Classic and Wide)
  • All Garmin Echomap Plus and UHD units
  • All Garmin GPSMAP units
  • All Furuno Navnet Units since the VX2, not including VX2
  • Many other units*
*Please measure older units, or unit that appear to stand off the dash to ensure they are less than 22.5mm or .9" thickness from the dash.

This photo you see here is of it installed.  There are several photos on the product page showing it in place, and removed, and videos to show it as well.  If you are wondering how the "buttons" are installed on the dash, that is just with a thru-bolt for each botton.  Requires a small hole in your dash for each of the two buttons, with an elongated nut on the back.
