Class A AIS Transponder
FUR-FA170 is one of the class A AIS transponder with the color LCD Display of 4.3’’ and it basically displays the symbols for the AIS-equipped vessels in the coastal stations and various other aids to navigation within the VHF ranges. It can be output to ECDIS and various other aids to navigation within the VHF range. The AIS data can be the output to the Radar, ECDIS and other navigational equipment for the collision of the avoidance support. This system includes 6 in and out ports with one LAN port and alarm output for the contact closure port. The unit inside is BAM which is known as the Bridge Alert Management meeting out the specific requirements for the BAM as the optional pilot plug is also available.
