Lowrance just released an update for the Active Target 2. So far the new active target has been a great addition to many boats across the country. The new system has made it easy to keep up in the competitive market of forward facing sonar.
With the new technology, there have been a few hiccups that anglers have noticed when pairing the new Active Target 2 with their older chartplotters (Live, Carbon and Elite FS). The new update will fix this glitch. Issues like sticking images, network dropping (NO SOURCE) are the most common issues that have been addressed.
Other cool updates include : greater bottom representation, range lines are smaller and more visually appealing, added range settings and selections, more color pallets 6, 7, & 8.
