The most confusing thing when selecting a transducer is trying to figure out what mix and match cable or end you need to make it work with your unit. Mix and Match Cables for 600W Transducers
Mix and Match 600W transducers are made as a common base transducer with a short (2m) cable attached, plus an interchangeable longer (8m) brand-specific adapter cable. The short pigtail attached to the transducer ends in an Airmar 5-pin female connector. The adapter cables have a matching Airmar 5-pin male connector (shown below) at one end and the correct connector for a specific brand of electronics at the other end. Both parts are needed for an installation. If the user changes equipment brand at some later time, the transducer can be left in place and the adapter cable replaced. Mix and Match 600W transducers include the B117, B45, B60, P319, P66*, P79, SS505, and SS60. (* not all models)
A 12m (40') extension cable (part MM-5P-5P) is available with one male and one female 5-pin connector.
**Note that 600W Mix and Match cables cannot be used with 1kw transducers.

**Note that 1kW Mix and Match cables cannot be used with 600W transducers.

Mix and Match Cables for Chirp Transducers
Many CHIRP transducers are now made as Mix and Match models. These versions have a common base transducer with an attached 9-meter cable, plus an interchangeable short (1-meter) brand-specific adapter cable. The permanently-attached 9-meter cable ends in an Airmar 12-pin connector. This cable is run up through the boat to the equipment location. The short adapter cable connects to the transducer cable at one end and to the equipment at the other end. Both parts are needed for an installation. If the user changes equipment brand at some later time, the transducer and its attached cable can be left in place and only the adapter cable needs to be replaced.
**Note that CHIRP Mix and Match cables cannot be used with conventional 50/200kHz transducers.

Airmars Chirp Transducer Junction box allows Airmar Chirp transducers to be connected to Raymarine CP450C, CP470 or CP570 Chirp echosounder. For example.. the B265C-LH sold for the Garmin GSD26 can operate with the Raymarine CP470 with this box. This does not work vice versa.. you cannot connect a transducer for a CP470 to a Garmin GSD26 using this. Shop now.
