Live sonar has been the most common topic in the world of bass fishing for several years. In 2015 Garmin released Panoptix, the first of its kind.  Three years later Garmin released LiveScope. The incredible screenshots that anglers were capturing from LiveScope went viral.  Being able to distinguish different fish species in real time with the use of sonar was something special.  Not only identifying fish, but watching your lure being pulled through the water while fish chase is exciting!

Since then major fishing trails have been dominated with the use of this new technology on nearly all bodies of water. Not only bass fisherman, but anglers of all species; most notably, Crappie anglers desire the opportunity to fish with forward facing sonar.  Saltwater anglers are also utilizing this technology to target all different species offshore such as Cobia, Redfish, Flounder, and more.

Since this technology has hit the market, several major brands have come out with their own line of forward-facing sonar that is ultra-competitive. Whether you are a Garmin, Lowrance, or Humminbird user, there is a system for you.
