FAST FIND is manufactured by McMurdo, producers of emergency locator beacons for more than 20 year, has used the latest developments in electronic design to produce its newest PLB. Like many other search and rescue agencies around the world, the US Coast Guard has long been familiar with McMurdo's range of emergency locator beacons.

FAST FIND is an essential piece of life-saving equipment, weighing in at just 5.3 oz (150g) and having the size of an average mobile telephone (actual dimensions being 1.34" x 1.85" x L 4.17") it will slip into the smallest pocket or backpack compartment. The user can activate it in the most remote locations around the world: on land, at sea or in the air, and can be confident of being able to contact the world's professional search and rescue services directly if they are to encounter a possibly life-threatening situation.

FAST FIND comes equipped with an integral 50-channel GPS system and complies with rigid federal and international standards. It operates on the global COSPAS SARSAT 406MHz search and rescue satellite communication system, so a call for help will be acted upon...and fast. The FAST FIND is subscription FREE and does not rely on any commercial call centers.

All FAST FIND models transmit two signals simultaneously: a global 406 MHz signal and a 121.5MHz local signal. Once activated, FAST FIND's signals will continue to transmit for at least 24 hours, at a powerful 5 watt output, the 406 MHz transmission ensures that a call for help gets through, no matter what the conditions. FAST FIND also includes a unique flashing SOS LED light to further assist in speeding up the user's recovery time during night rescues.

FAST FIND will operate in temperatures as low as -20°c and its integral battery has a user storage life of 5 years, so there?s no need for frequent battery changes or re-charging.

Return Policy

Your complete satisfaction is our #1 priority. We understand that purchasing on-line is sometimes difficult without being able to touch and feel the product. Because of this, we offer several return options to insure your shopping experience with us is a pleasant one.

To request a RMA (return authorization number):

Email Us to request a RMA or use the form at the bottom of our Contact Us page to create a support ticket. After you request a RMA, please sit tight and we will send you return instructions by e-mail.

We offer the following return options:

• Returns will not be accepted without a RMA (return authorization number).
• Returns due to our error or on products that are defective from the manufacturer will gladly be returned or exchanged at no cost.
• Items may be returned for a refund (less shipping) within 30 days from when you received your shipment.* The item must be in new, resaleable, unused condition and in its original packaging.
• A 15% processing fee will apply to all returns that are in un-saleable condition, or do not include the original packaging (boxes, labels, tags, etc.).
• Products being returned must be shipped freight pre-paid; no COD's. (If the return is due to our error or product defect, we will provide you with a prepaid shipping label.)
• Shipments refused by the customer are subject to a 15% processing fee. Original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
• If your order originally qualified for and was shipped free, shipping charges will be deducted from the refund amount if the return causes your order total to drop below the required minimum for free shipping.
• Refunds must be issued to the original payment method used. If the original payment method is not available, a store credit will be issued.

We do not accept returns on:

• Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
• Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, used, or is missing parts.
• Special order, closeout, or discontinued products.
• Software and Cartography
• Liferafts

Guarantees and Warranties:

BOE Marine will stand behind all products we sell with regards to manufacturing defects in workmanship and material for 30 days. After 30 days defective products should be returned to the manufacturer for warranty repair. We will always do everything in our power to take care of the problem regardless of when purchased.
